strummer, 7 months ago | FlagMet up with Steve last night for another attempt to land the shark with teeth. After a bite off and a dropped bait on the previous trip we knew we were in with chance. However, on arrival the wind direction and speed was considerab
ly worse than we had expected, putting a big chop on the water - not ideal for our chosen target.
Should we stay or should we go (to another venue)? After a chat with some other anglers on the beach it was clear that the hounds hadn't been put off by the conditionsso we decided to stay.
Would we have done any better elsewhere?Who knows...we didn't have a bite all night. At least Lee and his mate from Suffolk fishing to our right for hounds kept us entertaine d.
