Fishing marathon in aid of RNLI

Bill Stubbington is doing a sponsored fishing marathon in aid of the R.N.L.I, which began on 28 may 2011 at Prince of Wales Pier Dover and is lasting for 6 weeks ending at Sennen cove Cornwall. His website which he has set up for the marathon is

Well done to him for getting out there and making the effort to do something positive for a great cause.

  • Bill is a top guy who has kept in touch as he swept through my patch here in East Sussex. This guy is for real, unlike that twat Dysiticus who put a lot of people, including myself, off from supporting such a journey. As Strummer says, please give him all the support you can as he breezes from port to port. He's not only been raising good sums for the RNLI, but has also been catching a few fish as well. All about the fishing!!
